Applications for year-round enrolment may be made at any time by contacting the school by phone on 03 5758 3311 or by email at falls.creek.ps@education.vic.gov.au to obtain an enrolment form.

Parent Payments

The ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer the best possible education and support for our students.

Our annual parent payments outline the associated costs that schools are not funded for, but which are essential to the programs we provide.

With your support, through parent payments, we also organise and coordinate the best possible programs outside of the traditional teaching and learning classroom structure. These financial contributions assist us with the purchasing of art, music, technology, library, physical education equipment and resources for all students to use.

We can also offer wonderful incursions to enhance the curriculum, excursions and activities that effectively improve and balance your child’s overall education.

Winter Enrolment 2026

During the snow season, which typically runs from the King’s Birthday weekend until the end of September, Falls Creek experiences a significant increase in population. This seasonal influx creates a demand for educational opportunities for students who are unable to attend their regular school during this period.

To support families in Alpine areas, the Department of Education introduced the Alpine Settings Seasonal Enrolment Policy in September 2025. This policy outlines the eligibility criteria and process for students seeking temporary enrolment in schools such as Falls Creek Primary School during the winter season.

All enrolments for the winter period at Falls Creek Primary School will be managed in accordance with the Department of Education’s Placement Policy. This policy is applied consistently across all Victorian government schools and includes guidelines for determining a student’s permanent residential address. Winter Enrolment Key Dates and Application Process

Expressions of Interest for primary student enrolment at Falls Creek Primary School for the 2026 winter season must be submitted between Monday 3 November 2025 and 6:00pm, Friday 27 February 2026.

The school principal will send all parents/carers written notification of the outcome of their expression of interest by Friday 6th March 2026. This will include:

  • details of the non- refundable parent contributions, in line with the department’s Parent Payment policy
  • information about the school’s expectations including the period in which the offer must be accepted.

All parents/carers must accept a seasonal enrolment offer by the specified due date and make payment of non-refundable parent contributions.

If no response is received within the specified time, then the offer may be withdrawn and the place offered to another student from the waitlist.  

Please note that places are limited due to building capacity. Where the number of applications exceeds available places, offers will be determined in line with the Department’s Placement Policy.
